Contact the Desk
There is one editorial mailbox, editor@davaodemoph.com, and it is for questions about what this site publishes.
The one mailbox
The desk has a single editorial address: editor@davaodemoph.com. It is read by the people who write and check the pages, and it is the right place for a question about a claim, a figure, a source or a correction. There is no phone line and no live chat, and messages are answered in the order they arrive.
Write plainly and include the page address if your message is about a specific sentence. A short note with the exact wording and why you think it is wrong is more useful than a long one, and it makes a correction faster to confirm and fix.
What the desk will help with
The desk will explain how a figure on the site was reached, point to the document it came from, and say when something was last checked. It will also take a correction, a re-check request, or a question about the method used to compare brokers for readers in the Philippines.
It will not help with account problems, login issues, deposit or withdrawal disputes, or fund recovery. Those are between the reader and the broker, and the desk has no access to any account and no power to intervene. It also does not give personal trading advice on gold or any other instrument.
No guest posts and no paid placement
The desk does not accept guest posts, sponsored reviews, link insertions or paid placement at any price. Every page is written in-house, and a broker cannot buy a mention, a ranking or a softer write-up. Messages offering these are declined without negotiation.
Affiliate links remain the only revenue, and they are disclosed on the pages that carry them. That rule is what lets a reader trust that a weakness stays visible: if the desk sold placement, the checks would mean nothing, so it does not.
What to include in your message for pricing, platform, funding and correction questions
For a pricing question, send the instrument code, the position size and the time window you are asking about. Gold is XAU/USD on this site, one standard lot is 100 oz and one pip is 0.01, so a question about a 0.10-lot position is a different question from one about a full lot. Tell us whether you are asking about the cost built into the quote, the cost charged separately, or both, and name the platform you were using. Without the lot size and the timestamp, a pricing answer can only describe what the cost consists of, not what happened on your screen.
For a platform question, name MT4, MT5, cTrader or the FxPro app and the exact screen or action that failed. Say what you expected and what appeared instead, and include the order ticket details if an order is involved: instrument, lot size, order type and the time in your own time zone. A screenshot or a copied error line is more useful than a description, but do not send passwords, one-time codes or full account numbers. If the issue is about leverage, note that the cap for the entity serving the Philippines is a maximum, not a setting to aim at, and that a 0.10-lot gold position at that cap needs about $85.50 margin.
For a funding question, name the rail you used, either GCash or bank transfer, and the amount in pesos. We cannot state a minimum deposit, a fee or a processing time as a fixed number because those depend on the entity and the rail, so tell us what you were shown and when. For a correction request, quote the sentence or figure you believe is wrong, give the page address, and state the source you are relying on. A correction is only actionable when the disputed text and the basis for the dispute are both in the message; a general complaint that something is inaccurate cannot be checked.
Questions we answer directly and questions that need a licensed adviser instead
We answer questions about what is written on this site and about how the instruments and platforms we describe work in mechanical terms. That means definitions, formulas, the pip value of gold at a given lot size, how margin is calculated at the applicable cap, what a platform screen is showing, and where a stated fact came from. We can explain that one standard lot of XAU/USD is 100 oz and that a pip is 0.01, and we can walk through the arithmetic of a worked example. What we cannot do is tell you whether to buy or sell, when to enter or exit, or how much of your own money to risk.
We do not give personal trading advice, and we do not answer questions that amount to a recommendation even when they are phrased as a factual query. A question like whether gold will rise, whether a 0.10-lot position is too large for a given account, or whether now is a good time to fund is a personal advice question and will be treated as one. The reason is not coyness: the answer depends on your circumstances, your other holdings and your tolerance for loss, none of which we hold and none of which a general page can responsibly assume. Trading gold on leverage carries a real risk of losing more than you intended, and a generic answer would hide that.
We also cannot confirm the status of your account, your orders or your funds. Those records sit with the broker entity that serves the Philippines, and this desk does not have access to them. If your question is about a balance, a withdrawal, a rejected order or a login, the answer has to come from the broker's own support channel, not from here. We can help you understand the terms used in that conversation, but we cannot act on the account itself, and asking us to do so will only delay you.
The response window you should plan around and what changes it
Expect a reply within a small number of business days, not within minutes. This is a written desk, not a live chat, and messages are handled in the order they arrive. The exact window depends on the volume of mail and on whether your message contains enough to answer, so a complete message sent on a weekday morning is typically answered sooner than a fragment that needs a follow-up question first. If you need an answer to a time-sensitive account or order problem, the broker's support channel is the right route, because this desk cannot see or change your account.
Messages that arrive with the instrument, lot size, platform, timestamp and the precise question are answered faster than messages that describe a feeling. A note saying a trade went wrong cannot be answered without the order ticket details, so it will either be answered with a request for those details or held until they arrive. Messages sent on weekends and Philippine public holidays are read on the next business day. Sending the same question repeatedly does not move it up the queue and can make it harder to match your earlier context.
We do not promise a fixed number of hours, and we will not invent one. What we can say is that every message gets read, and that a message we cannot answer will still get a reply explaining why and where the question should go instead. If you have not heard back after a reasonable wait, reply to your own original message rather than starting a new thread, so the earlier context stays attached. That single habit does more for response speed than any wording trick.
How a correction request is logged, checked and answered
A correction request is logged as a correction, not as a general enquiry, when it identifies the exact text and the source that contradicts it. Quote the sentence or the figure, give the page address, and state what you believe the correct version is and why. If the point is a number, give the number and the basis for it. If the point is a definition, give the definition you are relying on. Requests that name the disputed text can be checked against the facts the page was built from; requests that only say something is wrong cannot.
The check itself is a comparison against the source material behind the page, not a debate about opinion. If the page states something the source does not support, the page is changed. If the page states something the source does support, the reply will say so and point to the basis. A correction request is not a route to add new claims: if you want a fact included that the source does not cover, that is a suggestion, and it will be treated as one. This distinction keeps the page accurate rather than merely longer.
You will get a reply either way. If a change is made, the reply will say what was changed. If no change is made, the reply will say why the existing text stands. We do not publish a list of corrections on this page, and we do not attribute changes to individuals. The purpose of the process is to keep the page correct for every reader, not to win the exchange. A well-argued correction is welcome even when it turns out the page was already right, because it confirms the basis is being read.
The details that make a message answerable in one reply
A useful message contains four things: what you were looking at, what you expected, what happened, and what you want to know. For anything involving a trade, that means the instrument code XAU/USD, the lot size, the platform, and the time. For anything involving money, that means the rail, either GCash or bank transfer, and the amount in pesos. For anything involving a statement on this site, that means the quoted sentence and the page address. A message with these four elements can usually be answered in one reply; a message without them almost always needs a second round.
Be specific about the question you want answered. A message that ends with a clear ask, such as whether a stated margin figure applies to a 0.10-lot position or whether a platform fee is charged inside the quote or separately, gets a direct answer. A message that describes a frustrating experience without a question gets a reply that has to guess what is wanted. You do not need to write formally or at length; three precise sentences are worth more than three paragraphs of background. Plain English is fine, and so is a mix of English and Filipino if that is clearer for you.
Do not send passwords, one-time codes, full card numbers or screen captures that show your whole account. We do not need them and cannot use them. If a screenshot is the clearest way to show an error, crop it to the error line. If you are writing about a figure you saw, copy the figure rather than describing it. These habits protect you and make the reply faster, because the desk is not spending its first pass asking for the one detail that was missing.
What this desk cannot do and the correct route for account, fund and advice issues
This desk cannot open, close, freeze or inspect an account, cannot release or recover funds, and cannot reverse or amend an order. Those actions belong to the broker entity that serves the Philippines, and only that entity can take them. If your money is missing, a withdrawal is stuck, a login is blocked or an order was filled in a way you dispute, contact the broker's own support channel and keep your ticket references. Writing here first will cost you time, because the message will be answered with a pointer to that channel rather than with an action.
This desk also cannot give personal trading advice, cannot tell you whether to hold or close a position, and cannot comment on whether a particular loss was fair. Those are not support questions and they are not factual questions; they depend on your circumstances. What we can do is explain the mechanics: that gold is quoted as XAU/USD, that one standard lot is 100 oz, that a pip is 0.01, and that at the applicable cap a 0.10-lot position needs about $85.50 margin. Understanding the mechanics is useful, but it is not the same as being told what to do, and we will not blur the two.
On regulation, the position is fixed and worth stating plainly: FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK) and CySEC, not by the SEC of the Philippines. If your question is about whether a particular entity may lawfully serve you, that is the sentence to check against, and any deeper regulatory question should go to the regulator named, not to this desk. We can tell you what the caveat says; we cannot give you a legal opinion on it, and we will not pretend that a general page can substitute for one.
How correction requests are ranked against other messages
A correction request that identifies a specific factual error is ranked ahead of general enquiries, because a wrong figure on a live page misleads every reader who sees it. Within corrections, the ranking is by severity: a wrong number, a wrong formula or a wrong regulatory statement is checked first, a wrong definition second, and a wording preference last. A request that quotes the text and supplies a source moves faster than one that asserts an error without pointing to the sentence. The ranking is about harm to readers, not about the seniority or persistence of the sender.
A correction that affects money arithmetic is treated as the highest priority. If a stated margin example, a pip value or a lot-size conversion is disputed, that is checked before anything else, because a reader may act on it. A correction to a date, a name or a link is real but is not in the same class. A request to change the tone of a sentence, or to add a claim the source does not support, is not a correction at all and will be handled as a suggestion after the factual queue is clear. This ordering is stated so you know why a small wording note may wait.
Ranking does not mean a correction is ignored if it is low priority. Every correction gets a reply. What ranking changes is the order of work, not whether the work happens. If you send a correction and a separate general question in the same message, the correction is extracted and handled first, and the general question is answered after. Sending them separately is clearer for you and for the desk, and it means a slow answer to the general question does not hold up the correction.
What happens to a message that falls outside what this desk can answer
A message that cannot be answered here still gets a reply, and that reply says why and where the question should go. The common cases are account access, fund recovery, order disputes and personal advice. For the first three, the reply points to the broker entity that serves the Philippines, because only that entity can act. For personal advice, the reply says plainly that this desk does not give it, and explains what a mechanical answer can and cannot cover. The message is not forwarded anywhere without your knowledge, and it is not published.
A message that is abusive, or that contains passwords or one-time codes, is not answered in the ordinary way. Credentials are deleted rather than stored, and the reply asks you to resend without them. Abuse is not escalated to a debate; it is simply closed. This is not a moral position so much as a practical one: a desk that argues with abusive mail has less time for corrections, and corrections are the part of the queue that protects other readers. Keep the message about the question and it will be handled as a question.
A message that is really a request for a service this desk does not offer, such as guest posting, paid placement or a link insertion, is declined. The reply will say so once. A message that asks for a fact the source does not cover is logged as a suggestion and answered as one; it will not be turned into a page claim just because it was asked for. In every case the outcome is a reply that tells you what happened, so you are not left waiting for an answer that was never going to come.
